Job Description

Carrington West are currently working with a busy South London Borough with their search for an experienced Traffic Engineer to join them on a contract basis.

You will be expected to carry out the duties of a Senior Engineer in the Traffic Management section, including developing, programming and implementing a wide range of Highways, Traffic and/or Parking Management schemes.

You will take personal responsibility for the planning and delivery of schemes and adopt a supervisory role over Technicians and Engineers who are assisting them.
The post-holder will need to demonstrate a commitment to high quality performance and team working.

You will be part of the Transportation Service, which is responsible for all transportation-related issues around the borough, including regeneration projects, traffic management, parking, as well as implementing the Council\'s capital programme and Local Improvement Plan (LIP).
