We are looking for a Senior Tutor to join our dedicated team in the Skills for Work Service. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.


The key competencies we are looking for in a suitable candidate - ability to:

To provide a peripatetic teaching and learning service to a wide range of learners requiring Pre Entry level to Entry 3 ESOL and Digital Skills. In a variety of internal and external delivery venues. To plan and implement practical training experiences for the learners, and to monitor and review their progress throughout their period of training, ensuring timely achievement of learning aims and to maximise retention.

Essential qualifications

: Certificate of Education, a L4 Teaching Qualification or PGCE, Level 2 or equivalent Maths and English. Assessor Award A1or equivalent (if delivering vocational programmes). Evidence of ESOL certification and Digital/ICT Skills.

An Enhanced Disclosure check with Barred List will be undertaken for this post.
