About the role

As a UK Senior Payroll Implementation Consultant, you will lead the onboarding and setup of our payroll software for new clients. You'll play a crucial role in gathering requirements, configuring systems, testing outputs, and ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to Cezanne's payroll solution.

What you'll do


------------------

Lead and manage end-to-end payroll implementation projects for new clients Conduct discovery sessions to understand client requirements, payroll complexities, and legacy system details Configure payroll software according to statutory UK payroll rules and client-specific requirements Map and migrate data from client systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity Build and execute test scenarios and parallel run comparisons Deliver client training sessions and create support documentation Provide post-implementation support during the initial payroll cycles Liaise with internal teams (Product, Support, Development) to ensure seamless handovers Monitor project timelines and communicate updates to stakeholders Identify and suggest process improvements based on client feedback and project learnings

Skills and experience valued in the role

Essential:

Demonstrable experience in UK payroll implementation, consultancy, or project delivery Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation including RTI, statutory payments, and Auto-Enrolment Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and reporting Excellent client-facing skills and experience delivering software training Strong project management and time management abilities Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

Knowledge of cloud-based HR/Payroll platforms Experience working with medium-sized businesses across diverse sectors Familiarity with payroll parallel runs and system testing best practices Understanding of integration with HRIS or time and attendance systems
