We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Senior Underwriter to join our team at William Russell.

Your role

- You will play a key and influential role in our business using your technical expertise and underwriting skills.


As a Senior Underwriter at William Russell, you are charged with ensuring the company maintains a consistent and considered approach to risk management and mitigation, as well as a broader understanding of our commercial objectives.



This a diverse role will be extremely interesting for anyone who wants to expand their underwriting knowledge in new and di?erent directions. As we continue our exciting and innovative period of digital transformation, your interest in and experience of the digital insurance world will be a great asset to help us achieve our goals.



We also value those good, traditional, pragmatic underwriting skills, and attention to detail.

About you

- You have significant underwriting experience (5+ years), ideally within both the protection and health space, for individuals and groups.



You are an experienced, results oriented medical underwriter, with energy and enthusiasm, and an ethical approach to their work. You have a hands-on, customer centric approach to your role and combine good judgement with integrity.
