Housemark is a well-established Data business supporting the Social Housing sector helping Housing Associations and Local Councils improve their operations and deliver higher levels of tenant satisfaction - delivered by the power of data insights.
We have highly ambitious plans to grow our business over the next three years and introduce a next generation data analytics platform for the sector to further improve how our customers can identify actionable insights to drive their performance.
We have an opportunity for a new Senior User Experience Designer who will be responsible for defining and conducting user research, translating insights into opportunities, and designing intuitive, engaging user experiences across our digital products.
The role involves conducting qualitative and quantitative user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to uncover needs and opportunities. It requires analysing findings to create actionable insights, artefacts like personas and journey maps, and presenting recommendations to influence decisions. Responsibilities include designing intuitive user experiences, ensuring accessibility, and iterating based on feedback, while collaborating closely with product managers and engineers. The position also supports design systems, brand standards, and quality assurance, with occasional contributions to marketing and visual content.
The position combines a research-led approach with hands-on design to ensure our product decisions are grounded in a deep understanding of user behaviour, needs, and challenges.
It requires a strong knowledge of user-centred design principles, current UI and interaction design trends, and visual storytelling, along with the ability to maintain consistently high design standards.
This position works cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer facing teams, engaging directly with customers to inform direction and elevate the overall experience. This role supports ad-hoc marketing and brand initiatives through content creation, visual design, and graphic asset development.
