Vacancy - Senior Vehicle Technician

BFG Groundworks and Construction Ltd run our own workshop to service and maintain our fleet of equipment as well as offering a workshop service to the local community

Due to increased business levels we now require a Senior Engineer to enable us to drive the business forward.

The position requires -

Service and repairs on our construction and agricultural equipment as well as maintaining other fleet and customers vehicle in our workshop and/or field environment. Complete all reports and administration required in a timely manner and to a high quality (job cards). Follow all safety rules and regulations as required. Complete all training programs to further develop skills and knowledge. Maintain a clean work environment and assist with overall workshop organisation Work with internal and external customers to ensure smooth progression of all jobs
Essential skills and qualifying experience -

Experience performing service and repairs on a range of vehicle types is essential. Ability to perform repairs and maintenance using correct tools and equipment, following approved techniques. Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to use standard computer applications, internet, and manufacturer service portals. Good customer service skills. A wide range of experience Ability to work well in a team environment. A full driving licence Ability to work extended hours if required
