The Livermead House Hotel is looking for senior experienced waiting staff with a positive attitude to customer service, to join our renowned Restaurant team
The hours can range in low season from 20 to 40 in high season.
Weekend working is essential, as is Christmas and New Year, and other Public holidays .
You may be required to train junior staff when they join.
The team:
You must have at least 2 years experience of waiting in a restaurant or hotel previously.
You will be of smart appearance.
You must understand the importance of reliability, good time keeping and be committed to weekend working in particular.
You will be able to work as part of a team.
You will have good customer care skills and be interested in making customers feel welcome.
Responsibilities of our Restaurant team:
Being able to professionally take food and drink orders from guests and ensure that service standards are met, by being attentive to the needs of the customer
Assist in preparing the restaurant for daily service
Be a good team player, and support colleagues where required
Communicate to management any customer concerns or positive feedback
Maintain and promote a high level of cleanliness throughout the Restaurant
Communicate in a professional and friendly manner to all guests and other members of the team
To carry out any other reasonable request by the Restaurant Manager or other members of the senior management team
Full training will be given, including silver service training.
National minimum wage as well as experience will be taken into account for pay rates for those under the age of 21.
