Career development and progression
What you'll do on a typical day:
Carry out training of new employees, and daily operational tasks
Assist and oversee van area procedure, ensuring all vans are completed by following the process and in a reasonable time manner
Aid and assist with Warehouse Operatives' development and continuous improvement
Cover Supervisor's duties during his absence
Adhere to all of GXO Health & Safety policies at all times
Physically demanding role which includes lifting and shifting of furniture
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Counterbalance is
essential and
PPT license is
desirable
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Expert in planning 12T and 3.5T vehicles' process
Extensive experience in warehouse environment
Ability to work under pressure on your own initiative in a continually changing and demanding environment
