Senior Wayfinding Designer

London, United Kingdom

Job Description

A sought-after London design consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Wayfinding Designer to strengthen its award-winning graphics team. With a portfolio that spans the world's most prestigious leisure and hospitality projects, the studio offers the chance to shape navigation systems that marry brand storytelling with exceptional guest experience.
What you'll be doing
Joining a tight-knit practice that unites interior design, architecture and branding, the designer will steer wayfinding and environmental graphics across large-scale international programmes. Day-to-day work ranges from creative ideation and concept development for wayfinding and signage systems, to location planning and spatial analysis, to iconography and environmental design.
Collaboration is central: the role partners closely with interior designers, external architects and fabricators, translating strategic insights into crafted visual and three-dimensional solutions that enhance high-luxury spaces-from grand atriums to intimate lounges.
As a senior voice in the team, the designer will present to clients, guide junior creatives and push creative briefs while working alongside a project manager to keep schedules and budgets on track.
What experience you'll need to apply

  • Extensive professional experience in wayfinding and signage.
  • Track record leading projects from research and strategy through to artwork and implementation
  • Outstanding Adobe Creative Suite skills.
  • Confident presenter able to nurture client relationships and mentor designers
  • Solid understanding of construction drawings, materials and fabrication methods
  • Familiarity with SketchUp, Revit or other 3D/CAD tools is a plus
What you'll get in return for your experience
The studio offers the chance to work on creatively rich projects for globally recognised luxury clients. You'll work alongside a talented team, delivering unique design solutions in a supportive and dynamic setting. On top of this, benefits include 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), enhanced maternity/paternity benefits, learning and development courses, hybrid working from a central London office, and a thriving company social culture.
