Position: Senior Wireless Core Engineer / Full Stack Expert
A leading provider of secure connectivity and managed network services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Wireless Core Software Engineer with Full-Stack Development and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) expertise. This role is ideal for someone with a deep background in scalable 3GPP cellular core applications, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps best practices.
You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying mission-critical software solutions, contributing across the full software development lifecycle. Mentorship of junior engineers and SRE team members is a key component of this senior-level position.
? Key Responsibilities

• 3GPP Cellular Core: Expertise in containerized network functions (CNFs) for 4G, 5G NSA, and 5G SA
• Network Engineering: Hands-on experience with enterprise and cloud networking (BGP, SD-WAN, IPSEC, SCTP, GTP, IP)
• Full-Stack Development: Build and maintain cellular core applications using Java, Go, C, Python, and related frameworks
• Cloud Infrastructure: Architect and manage solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, OpenShift, Teleport, Argo CD, Crossplane
• DevOps Practices: Implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation tools for predictive operations
• Database Management: Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Couchbase, DynamoDB)
• API Development: Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
• Software Architecture: Lead scalable system design with expertise in converged cellular core, IMS, and IPX
• Problem Solving: Resolve complex technical issues to ensure high performance and reliability
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers
• Mentorship: Guide and support junior developers in a fast-paced technical environment
• Version Control: Proficient in GitLab and GitHub for artifact management
• Containerization: Design and manage complex deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and K8s operators

? Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong portfolio
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Go, C, Python
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture (including on-premise)
• Expert-level DevOps skills (CI/CD, IaC, automation)
• Strong database and API development experience
• Solid grasp of enterprise network architecture
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentorship abilities
• Certifications in Docker, Kubernetes, and SRE practices

? Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications from major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Enterprise networking certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, etc.)
• Experience with 3GPP core software (e.g., Druid, Ericsson, Mavenir, Expeto, Summa)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions
• Expertise in Linux network system design and administration
