Senior Youth & Play Worker

Location: The Vench, Romney Ave, Lockleaze, Bristol BS7 9TB

Contract: Fixed Term Contract - March 2026

Salary:16,667 pro rata (25,000 FTE)

Hours:25 hours per week

We are looking for an organised, proactive, and supportive Senior Youth & Play Worker to join our friendly team. You'll help deliver a range of inclusive, free and high-quality play and youth activities for children, young people and families.

In this role, you will:

Support the planning and delivery of adventure play and youth sessions.

Supervise and motivate staff and volunteers.

Ensure sessions are safe, inclusive and engaging.

Build positive relationships with children, young people and families.

Contribute to the smooth running of The Vench, maintaining high standards of safety and wellbeing.

You'll bring:

Experience working with children and young people in a play or youth work setting.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

A passion for inclusive, community-based play and youth work.

The ability to create a safe, fun and supportive environment for all.
