We are seeking to recruit a Senior/Manager to run our great team. You may currently be a Senior ,Team Leader or a Deputy Manager wanted to take the next step running your own team. No requirement to be Level 5 for this role but it would be an advantage. You will be working with two young men who have complex learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. This is a hands on role with some office duties. You will need to lead the team and be responsible for the days activities and routines along with rotas, supervisions etc.

This is a non profit making service therefore all of the funding goes to our support team to enable us to give the best possible care.

We do not use any agency staff.

Both young men have their own vehicles so are able to access the community as and when they wish with 2:1 support.

You will need to be physically active and have a very good sense of humour.

You will be working in a spacious private property with excellent facilities.

You will have a valid driving licence.

You will have NVQ3 in Health & Social Care or above.

As The Manager/Senior



You will be responsible for the rotas, ensuring medication is given at the appropriate times together with the general running of the service. You will support with personal care where necessary. You will be able to help prepare and cook meals when necessary You will support behaviours that challenge using the MAYBO training that will be given. You will assist and encourage the young men to engage in every day life skills and social activities You will support with health needs as required which will include administering medication and attend health appointments usually alongside the parents You will work positively with colleagues on a two to one basis to assist and support the young men in their own home and in the community. You must be able to manage a small team of support staff, giving guidance, encouragement, praise where applicable and support as well as mentoring new recruits and assist with three monthly supervisions Ensuring care plans/support plans are up to date You will have ongoing support from the parents who are readily available to assist and support you in your job role.

This is a 40 hour per week job role working alternate weekends. There will be overtime available if required.

No night shifts required.

UK Residents only. Must be currently working in the UK for at least a year and eligible to work in the UK as no resettlement available.
