Senior/data Engineer
Job Description
We are looking to strengthen our Information Technology/Data team with a Senior Data Engineer or Data Engineer with hybrid working available. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining the data pipelines and systems that power our analytics and decision-making. Working under the guidance of the Head of Data, you will ensure that data is accessible, reliable, and secure, enabling the organization to harness its full potential. This is an opportunity to work in a "greenfield" environment and contribute to the creation of a cutting-edge data ecosystem from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Pipeline Development:
Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to collect, transform, and load data from various sources into our data infrastructure.Data Modelling:
Implement robust data models and schemas to support analytics, reporting, and other business needs.Infrastructure Management:
Assist in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient data platform architectures (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes).Data Quality Assurance:
Implement processes and tools to monitor and ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.Collaboration:
Work closely with the Head of Data, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.Automation:
Automate repetitive tasks and workflows to streamline data operations.Technology Integration:
