We have grown by 300% in the last year, which is why we are now looking for a skilled SEO Assistant to join our in-house team and support our expanding client base.

The Role:



As our SEO Assistant, you'll be responsible for the delivery and performance of SEO strategies across a variety of client accounts. You'll have a comprehensive understanding of SEO best practices, combined with excellent content instincts and the ability to adapt your approach depending on each client's needs. You will have a range of managerial support systems for personal development, questions and guidance.

Key Responsibilities (We do not expect you to know everything)



Identify and implement effective keyword strategies that support client goals. Audit existing SEO performance and create improvement plans tailored to each client. Deliver a full range of SEO tactics: technical, on-page and off-page. Write or edit optimised content that is clear, compelling and aligned with each brand voice. Confidently use tools such as Semrush/SERanking, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console and Google Analytics & others. Schedule and lead regular client calls and updates. Work independently while communicating with the wider team. Support our SEO lead with workload sharing and step in where needed. Understand website structure, design basics and how to manage domain migrations.

WordPress experience is highly desirable

(including working with themes and plugins). Wix, Framer and other CMS knowledge would be great too. Understanding of HTML, CSS, JS & PHP desirable. Able to manage workload across multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Perks & Package



20,000-24,000 starting salary. Office-based in Stamford, Monday to Friday. Flexible start and finish times (e.g. 8-4 or 10-6 - your choice). Loose structure: We trust you to manage your time well. Free coffee, tea and soft drinks, beer and other amenities. 1-hour lunch break in the centre of Stamford. Team days out. R&D every week. After a 6-month induction & passing probation: manage up to 14 client accounts and earn commission based on self-identified opportunities.

Excellent written & verbal communication. High attention to detail and accuracy. Adaptability and the ability to pick up new techniques quickly. Excellent phone manner, interpersonal, and communication skills. An openness to communicate and collaborate with other team members.
