Sheffield, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

The Content & Outreach Manager is a critical role responsible for leading all aspects of content and SEO PR activities. Overseeing both content marketing and our newly forming PR SEO function, you will be tasked with growing the service, identifying opportunities, maintaining a high level of quality control across all clients, and ensuring our output is consistently industry leading.

As the industry moves to automation, it is critical that the Content & Outreach Manager can strike a balance between AI-enabled efficiencies and deeply human content creation, ensuring everything we produce retains originality, authority and experience.

This is a perfect role for an experienced content leader with SEO expertise and commercial acumen. By championing an "agency-first" mentality, you will help drive sustained growth and innovation aligned with the company's overarching vision.

Content Strategy & Execution

Lead the development and implementation of our core content strategy, ensuring it is upheld by the team and to the highest of standards. Build and maintain SEO-led frameworks, ensuring efficiency and scalability without hindering editorial quality. Support the rollout of our PR SEO service, focusing on off-page optimisation to build exposure and trust not necessarily from backlinks. These approaches must complement on-site content. Whilst the role is a management position, there is an expectation that you will role your sleeves up and contribute to some content output at times.

Commercial Growth & Innovation

Identify and build non-core and upsell revenue streams within the content department Maintain strong profitability metrics across service delivery while unlocking long-term opportunities through smart content development.

Team Leadership & Development

Manage and motivate the content team, creating an environment of ownership, support and growth. Ensure every team member understands their development path and how they can achieve success. Own the quality control function across content and outreach, making sure standards are consistently met and documentation is robust.

Technology & AI Enablement

Utilise AI tools logically in our content creation process which stimulates productivity without allowing AI to influence the creative or originality Lay down clear standards to ensure our content belongs to the top 5% and not the generic AI-influenced 95%.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with the Technical SEO team, Paid Media, and Client Services to ensure our content and PR strategies align with broader campaign activities.
