Are you an SEO specialist ready to drive high-impact campaigns in the fast-paced travel industry? Become part of a dynamic in-house travel brand based in the North West, where your performance marketing expertise will directly influence growth and increase bookings through organic SEO! We're seeking an SEO Executive who excels in data-led marketing to build and implement strategies that turn sessions into measurable outcomes. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll work within a positive and team-oriented environment where your ideas will craft strategy and drive return on investment. Experience in the travel industry is desirable but not essential.

What you'll do:

Develop and implement a data-driven SEO strategy aligned with business goals. Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and implement on-page SEO improvements. Lead technical SEO audits and fixes, including site speed, schema, indexing, and Core Web Vitals. Manage off-page SEO efforts such as backlink building, digital PR, and outreach. Identify growth opportunities and support new business initiatives. Collaborate with the marketing manager and CRO specialists to optimise landing pages through A/B testing and funnel analysis. Monitor algorithm updates and adapt strategies accordingly. Provide clear, actionable reporting on traffic, rankings, and return on investment. Support content development to ensure strong E-E-A-T across key pages. Adapt SEO strategies to remain competitive in a changing search environment.

What you'll bring:

Proven experience in a similar SEO role with a track record of successful strategies across on-page, off-page, technical SEO, content, and CRO. Proficient with key SEO tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Google Search Console, GA4, Tag Manager, Keyword Planner, Looker Studio). Skilled in setting up and managing SEO conversion tracking via Google Analytics Goals. Hands-on CRO experience, including A/B testing, heatmaps, user journey analysis, and landing page optimisation. Knowledge of Core Web Vitals, schema markup, E-E-A-T, and Google Quality Rater guidelines. Strong SEO content writing/editing skills and critical thinking within a broader marketing context. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical insights to non-technical partners. Passionate about SEO innovation and staying ahead in the evolving search landscape.
