The role:

This is an exciting new position in our digital team for an experienced SEO Executive to take a key role in driving our SEO strategy forward across our portfolio of sites in the UK & US. You will work closely with our Digital Marketing Manager, Group Head of Digital and have the support of a leading external agency and a host of best-in-class SEO tools. Our current SEO priority is improving our visibility in our growing US market and this role will play a key part in our success there.

Key responsibilities:

  • Play a pivotal role in driving SEO visibility higher across our group of websites.
  • Take a key role in managing the day-to-day relationship with our SEO agency.
  • Devise and implement a cohesive SEO strategy across our websites
  • Own the technical SEO roadmap across our sites, with support from our agency where required, and work closely with our internal development teams to resolve any challenges.
  • Work closely with a soon to be hired Content Executive and our SEO agency to devise and implement a content strategy that drives SEO growth.
  • Work closely with the Digital PR team at our SEO agency to drive link generation across our sites.
  • Own SEO reporting across our group of sites utilising GA4, Google Search Console and 3rd Party SEO tools to monitor our own & competitor performance.
  • Monitor and respond to ongoing SEO trends, Google Updates and engage with the wider SEO industry to ensure we are always on the front foot.
  • Partner with the wider marketing teams to embed good SEO practice into everything we do as a team.
The person:
  • Agency or client-side experience in a SEO position
  • A wide-ranging knowledge of SEO and key drivers of SEO performance or deep expertise in one area e.g. strategy, content, link acquisition etc.
  • Technically proficient at completing SEO audits either manually or via SEO tools.
  • Data driven with a passion for using data to back up opinions and demonstrate results.
  • Experience with tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Lumar, AWR, BrightEdge or comparable SEO tools.
  • Experience working with external SEO agencies.
  • Passion for SEO best practices and an always on approach to testing & learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Curious about new technologies and driven to find ways to implement them in your work.
