FixMyCar is looking for an SEO Manager to lead and elevate the organic search strategy across our digital ecosystem. This pivotal role will focus on strengthening our search visibility, driving high-quality organic traffic, and improving overall site performance to support key business objectives.

Working within the marketing team, the SEO Manager will play a central part in improving the efficiency and impact of our organic search channels, collaborating with other marketing and product disciplines to deliver cohesive, high-performing campaigns.

Note this role is a hybrid position, reporting to our Reading office.

Key responsibilities of the role include:



Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy that supports business goals across the entire funnel. Lead on-site and off-site optimisation efforts. Manage SEO performance, including keyword strategy, content optimisation, and technical improvements. Conduct detailed analysis and reporting of site performance, sharing insights and recommendations with key stakeholders. Partner with content, paid media, and product & engineering teams to maximise organic discoverability and improve conversion from organic traffic. Oversee competitor and market analysis to identify new opportunities, trends, and improvements. Monitor and respond to developments in search - including Google AI Overviews, SGE features, and emerging LLM-driven search behaviours.

Requirements



Proven experience managing end-to-end SEO strategy across technical, content, and off-page channels. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and translate them into clear actions. Commercially aware, with a solid understanding of how SEO contributes to wider marketing and business goals. Excellent cross-functional collaborator, able to work with multiple marketing and product stakeholders. Strong communicator, capable of turning complex SEO insights into clear, accessible stories that drive understanding and action. Experience working with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush/SimilarWeb, Screaming Frog, etc. Experience in optimising sites to be visible in Googles AI Overviews and LLMs.
