Working at Blink

Blink is an Shopify-focused digital marketing agency founded in 2011. We are emerging as one of the most forward-thinking SEO agencies out there. We have developed proprietary software for eCommerce SEO analysis, and we are soon to launch an app in the Shopify app ecosystem.

We are very technically-minded, with data management and scaling the two inherent problems in eCommerce SEO we've taken upon ourselves to solve.

That said, our team is also made up of individuals with very strong writing and creative backgrounds and we value these skills highly too.

There are a few important benefits to joining us:

- We are very proud of our company culture. We aim to treat people and trust them as individuals, and we've invested a lot of effort and resources into making Blink the best possible place to work. As a result we've been rewarded with a team that are positive, welcoming and share our vision for the business.

- We were one of the first agencies in the UK to implement a 4-day week. Our full-time contracts are now 32 hours per week, which can be spread flexibly throughout the week.

- Wellbeing is very important to us. This is not just a loose idea or phrase that we use when we feel like it. It is essential to both our identity and our longer term goals as we grow.

- Careful management of workload. We understand agencies can be fast-moving, but we are dedicated to making sure our team have the time and space to work without unnecessary pressure and distraction.

- We run a profit share scheme. After six months of employment, you will be eligible for a monthly bonus. This is not performance related. Instead, we want everybody to share in the rewards of the business as a whole.

- Our team all have access to various subsidised and free healthcare benefits through Healthshield.

This role will be especially suited to individuals who enjoy having responsibility and being trusted to make good decisions.

We have planned for a longer than usual hiring process for this role due to the standards we are requiring of successful candidates.

Candidates screening successfully may be required to complete some form of (paid) written work as part of the hiring process.
