About the role




The SEO Marketing Manager will be instrumental in advancing the agency's SEO strategies, focusing on content development, digital PR, and backlink building. You will be responsible for enhancing our clients' online visibility, driving organic traffic, and building authoritative backlinks. This role requires a forward-thinking individual who understands the evolving landscape of search, including the impact of AI and large language models (LLMs). Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, the SEO Marketing Manager will enhance our SEO offerings, drive client success, and ensure our practices remain innovative and effective.



What you'll be doing



Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic for our clients. Lead efforts in building high-quality backlinks through strategic outreach and digital PR. Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth. Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content development. Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools (SE Ranking and Screaming Frog) and analytics platforms, providing regular reports and actionable insights. Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and advancements in AI and LLMs to inform strategy adjustments. Provide thought leadership and guidance on the future of search, including the impact of AI technologies. Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications

What we're looking for



Proven experience in SEO roles, ideally within an agency environment. Demonstrable success in managing SEO campaigns and strategies. Strong experience in Digital PR and backlink (essential). Track record of building and executing effective backlink strategies. Extensive experience with SEO tools (e.g., Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ, SE Ranking) and web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console). In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms and the ability to influence ranking behaviour. Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a broad range of stakeholders. Solid understanding of the impact of AI on SEO (GEO).

Expertise in Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) best practices Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech start-up environment Self-motivated, ambitious, and driven to achieve outstanding results Strong presentation skills with a proven ability to lead client pitches and presentations.
