Skills:



Experience in new business proposals and pitch meetings Client relationship management and discussing SEO strategy with clients at all levels Managing growth of SEO accounts and identifying digital upsell opportunities for existing clients Experience in site migration strategy and implementation, for example 301 redirects, URL restructures etc. Internal briefing and collaboration across teams such as creative and content to support the creation of SEO assets Ability to brief developers on SEO updates such as page speed optimisation and website issues Ability to work across various industries including niche/technical industries such as scientific communications Strategy and implementation of structured data and schema Excellent understanding of, and experience deploying technical tactics Both B2B and B2C experience desirable Awareness of commercial impact of projects ??Knowledge of SEO strategy and KW research for other platforms than Google & Bing (e.g. Reddit, Amazon, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest) Experience of strategies for AI overview optimisation and zero click search Understanding of E-E-A-T and user intent Understanding of how SEO applies to image and video

Key responsibilities:



Perform in depth technical SEO audits on client websites using Screaming Frog or Deep Crawl Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords Audit backlinks on client websites and perform link building tasks where required Reporting on website page speed Client reporting on key KPIs Initiate, advise and collaborate on campaigns and implementation for clients Responsible for providing an expert level SEO analysis including; competitor analysis, content and backlink audits, end to end outreach and engagement strategy. keyword research and targeting, Achieve organic search optimisation and ROI maximisation Regularly perform thorough keywords research Identify KPIs with clients and prepare and present reports regularly Identify buyer personas to better target identified audiences Identify problems/ deficiencies and implement solutions in a timely manner Provide SEO input to website build projects, working alongside UX, design and development teams Collaborate with Web Developers, Account Handlers and the Creative Team Manage freelance resource if necessary, by overseeing their work and offering guidance or direction Collaborate with the Social and Digital team on internal strategy planning and pitch work. Creating new performance dashboards for clients, as well as editing existing dashboards on a monthly basis Manual reporting and data analysis (for example, combining sources such as GA4 with Umami)

Tools and Platforms:



Experience using Gemini and ChatGPT to integrate AI into everyday SEO processes Experience using SEMRush for keyword analysis and site monitoring Experience using GA4, Google Search Console, and Page Speed Insights for SEO analysis Experience managing content, SEO plugins, and performing basic troubleshooting on various CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Magento) Experience with project management processes and tools (e.g., Monday, Trello, Jira, gantt charts) Use of Synergist for admin tasks for client work and timesheets Use of Campaign Monitor for sending out internal and external email communications about SEO and other digital services
