Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest services. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience while dining with us.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards. Assist with food preparation when necessary, maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen area. Respond to guest inquiries and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Handle payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of culinary terms and food preparation techniques is advantageous. Excellent guest service skills with a focus on hospitality and creating positive experiences. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills accurately. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during service hours. A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues in both front-of-house and kitchen roles.
