Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere. Assist with food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations. Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Assist with catering events as required, contributing to the overall success of the occasion. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.

Skills

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is advantageous. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and catering services is beneficial. Understanding of food safety regulations and practices to maintain high hygiene standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Bartending experience is a plus, enhancing our beverage service capabilities.
