Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards during food preparation and serving. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely meal preparation. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.

Experience

Previous restaurant experience Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing bills effectively. Experience in kitchen or culinary settings is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Excellent guest service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
