Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Your ability to manage time effectively while demonstrating a passion for hospitality will be essential in delivering top-notch service to our patrons.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions, to assist guests in their choices. Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and effective communication.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic maths skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanour. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn about menu items and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

Pay: 12.28-12.56 per hour
