Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle cash and process payments accurately, utilising basic math skills for transactions.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of hospitality practices. Knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary techniques is advantageous. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy periods. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a positive dining atmosphere. Experience in serving or kitchen roles is beneficial, showcasing an understanding of food preparation processes. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
