Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed. Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system or by hand. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any concerns or requests. Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed to support the culinary team. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential. Strong knowledge of culinary practices and food preparation techniques is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Excellent time management skills to effectively manage multiple tables during peak hours. A friendly demeanour with outstanding guest service skills to create memorable experiences. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A willingness to learn about menu items and contribute positively to the team dynamic. Must have an outgoing personality and great communication skills to preform well in a customer facing role.
