We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred, along with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times during service.
Clear tables efficiently and maintain cleanliness of the dining area throughout shifts.
Handle guest queries courteously, providing information about menu options and specials.
Process payments accurately using the POS system, handling cash or card transactions.
Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques.
Basic maths skills for billing and cash handling purposes.
Familiarity with food preparation or culinary experience is a plus.
Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively.
Strong guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour.
Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
