Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials, and assist with upselling where appropriate. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for complete satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders. Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating knowledge of culinary practices. Maintain an organised workspace and adhere to time management principles during busy periods.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for guest services. Previous restaurant experience preferred, particularly in serving roles. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous for understanding menu items and preparation methods. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during peak hours. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
