Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations based on guest preferences. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring all items meet our quality standards. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with inquiries. Uphold food safety standards during preparation and service to ensure guest health and satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery and address any issues that may arise. Handle payments accurately using basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Assist in training new staff members on serving techniques and restaurant policies as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is beneficial. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and requests simultaneously. Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest services to enhance the dining experience. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction.
