Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a warm welcome. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, using your knowledge of the menu to assist guests. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Provide excellent guest services by responding to inquiries and addressing any concerns promptly. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in all food preparation areas. Assist with basic food preparation as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen team.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining a safe dining environment. Basic math skills are required for handling payments and processing transactions accurately. Kitchen or culinary experience will be advantageous in understanding menu items and preparation methods. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Strong guest services skills with the ability to create memorable experiences for patrons. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well within a team environment are essential for success in this role.
