As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food preparation as needed.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly attitude, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining attention to detail. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food preparation and serving. Assist in the kitchen when necessary, including basic food preparation tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, ideally in a serving role. Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and guest service excellence. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices. Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and requests simultaneously. Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
