Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of quality. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and billing.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, with a strong background in hospitality. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience will be an advantage. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Strong guest service skills with an ability to create a welcoming atmosphere. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance customer satisfaction. A positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn are crucial for success in this role.
