Duties

Welcome guests warmly Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities Ensure all health and safety standards, including food safety protocols, are adhered to at all times Clear tables efficiently for incoming guests Maintain cleanliness of service areas and assist with general restaurant upkeep Handle guest queries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for guest service is key Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately Ability to work well under pressure during busy service times Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during shifts
