Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly and guide them to their tables, ensuring a positive first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders, demonstrating thorough knowledge of menu items and specials Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Provide attentive guest service, addressing any questions or special requests promptly Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and maximise sales opportunities Ensure all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, are strictly followed Clear tables promptly and assist with setting up for subsequent service periods Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area throughout shifts Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders Handle guest complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction Know how to work on the bar

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Basic maths skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanour Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the business schedule
