We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance the guest experience
Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
Handle payments accurately using the POS system and thank guests for their patronage
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and surrounding areas throughout the shift
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow
Adhere to food safety standards and health regulations at all times
Skills
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and basic food preparation techniques
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, providing a broader understanding of food handling and presentation
Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to maximise sales opportunities
Effective communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with team members and guests
