We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that every dining experience is memorable and enjoyable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanour, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest queries effectively. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Manage time efficiently to handle multiple tables while providing attentive service. Clear tables promptly after guests have finished their meals, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and guest service standards.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with serving techniques and food safety practices is essential. Basic math skills are required for handling bills and processing payments accurately. Experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is an advantage but not mandatory. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services to create positive interactions with patrons. A passion for culinary experiences and willingness to learn about new menu items will be beneficial.
