Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen and bar staff Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities Ensure all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, are adhered to at all times Assist with food preparation or organising dining areas during peak hours as needed Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service stations and dining areas Handle guest enquiries professionally, resolving any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation skills are desirable Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling techniques will be beneficial Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities to handle busy service periods Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions confidently
