Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation when necessary, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen as required. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing solutions to enhance their experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of dishes served. Process payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth checkout experience for guests.

Skills

Strong guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. A proactive approach to helping colleagues in both the dining area and kitchen as needed. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
