Responsibilities

Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices. Engage with guests to provide excellent service, taking orders efficiently and accurately. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation between the bar and kitchen. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices. Experience in serving food and beverages, with an understanding of culinary techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to provide outstanding guest services, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.
