The Watchhouse in NewQuay is re-opening its door with a complete makeover and is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our vibrant team. We are looking for staff for multiple roles including cook, bar staff and waiting staff. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the welcoming atmosphere of The Watchhouse, ensuring that every visitor feels valued and well cared for.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with our high standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with guests and team members. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in orders and cleanliness in service areas. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is advantageous but not essential. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Team player mentality, demonstrating flexibility and cooperation with colleagues.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary

Pay: From 13.20 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
