Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the cafe, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including workstations and customer areas. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards in all food preparation tasks. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
