Duties:
- Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Delivering orders to tables in a timely manner
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing any customer concerns or inquiries
- Upselling menu items and promoting specials
- Preparing and serving alcoholic beverages (if applicable)
- Handling cash transactions and processing payments
- Cleaning and setting up tables for new customers
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work well in a team environment and provide assistance to colleagues when needed
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Bartending skills (if applicable) including knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and responsible alcohol service
