We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a vital part of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, including serving drinks, preparing food, and maintaining cleanliness in the bar area.

Duties

Serve beverages and food to guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance guest experience. Prepare and mix drinks according to standard recipes while ensuring quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Assist with food preparation as required, ensuring all items are fresh and presented well. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service for all guests. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any queries or concerns promptly and courteously.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong upselling skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences is essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
