Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing exceptional service in a lively and welcoming environment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Previous experience in restaurant or bar settings is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Responsibilities

Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations Prepare simple food items or garnishes as required, adhering to hygiene standards Upsell drinks and promotional offers to maximise sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system Provide excellent guest services, addressing customer queries and resolving issues promptly Assist with setting up and closing down the bar area before and after shifts Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is desirable but not mandatory Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and billing purposes Experience with upselling drinks or promotional products is a plus Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or special events as required

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour
