Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards. Assist with basic food preparation when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed. Upsell drinks and promotional offers to maximise sales opportunities. Manage cash register operations and handle payments accurately. Monitor guest behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service and adherence to licensing regulations. Restock supplies and manage inventory levels effectively throughout shifts. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
