Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, taking orders and offering recommendations to enhance their experience. Upsell menu items and promotions to maximise sales opportunities. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain efficient service flow. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Exceptional guest service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere. Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance customer satisfaction.
