Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing exceptional guest service in a lively and welcoming environment, ensuring that customers enjoy their experience from the moment they arrive. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided to the right candidate. Responsibilities

Serve drinks & Food and beverages efficiently and professionally to guests at the bar and tables Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments with precision Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times Assist in food preparation tasks as required, including garnishing drinks or preparing simple snacks Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing friendly guest service Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills Provide guest services that promote customer satisfaction and encourage repeat visits Restock supplies and ensure the bar area is well organised throughout shifts

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is preferred but not essential Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanour Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Good organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of service Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required by operational needs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 16 per week
