We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Waiting Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area. Your ability to manage time effectively while upselling menu items will play a crucial role in enhancing our guests' experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes. Engage with guests to provide excellent service and build rapport, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Upsell drinks and food items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash management. Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and report any shortages to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible service of alcohol.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of basic maths for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary standards is advantageous. Understanding of food safety practices is essential. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

Pay: 12.21-12.80 per hour
