Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take accurate food and drink orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items where appropriate. Deliver food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Assist in food preparation as needed, collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times to ensure guest safety. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve any issues to their satisfaction. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills, with a focus on providing top-notch guest services. A keen interest in culinary arts and food preparation is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices is desirable to maintain high standards of hygiene. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
